The NEW IDEAL Feed-Thru CAT6 8P8C (eight position/eight contact) modular plug connector is the first feed-thru style connector and tool solution to offer a flush cut of the excess conductor to the face of the modular plug. A patent pending design enables conductors to be cut flush with the end face of the connector when used with the FT-45 tool (30-495). The flush cut eliminates inadvertent contact among adjacent conductors or with the mating jack. Conductor spacing is maintained for reliable performance in PoE and data applications.

• DATA CONNECTOR: Single piece design allows conductors to feed-thru the end of the connector to verify conductor order that eliminates wasted connectors due to incorrect assembly. The FT-45 tool [sold separately] crimps and removes excess conductor length.
• EXCELLENT DESIGN: Along with a 3-point contact design, the 8P8C connector embraces a 50-micron gold plating contact area for durability and consistent connectivity. It can be used with both solid copper and stranded conductors from 23 to 24 AWG insulated copper conductors up to 0.041 in. in diameter accepts outer jacket cable diameters of up to .280 in.
• FEED-THROUGH CONNECTOR: The twisted cable connector offers a flush cut of the excess conductor to the face of the modular plug minimzes inadvertent contact outside of the plug. It helps in maintaining the conductor spacing for reliable performance in PoE and data applications. The cable can be pushed or pulled into the connector to ensure that the twisted pairs are within 1/4 in. of the pin contacts and that the jacket is seated beyond the primary strain relief for a secure connection-better NEXT performance, minimal untwisted wires.
• COMPATIBILITY: This modular plug works seamlessly with IDEAL 30-495 FT-45 Modular Plug Crimp Tool to provide a flush cut of the conductor ends for reliable performance in PoE and data applications for 1 gigabit CAT6 installations.
• SPECIFICATIONS: The package includes [25] CAT6 feed-thru plug connectors that ensure a permanent connection when crimped. A feed-thru style crimper is required for proper termination.nt connection when crimped. Conductor order can then be verified before the connector is crimped. This elimates wasted connectors, saves time in assembly, and reduces the chances of finding an error during a wiremap test of the cable.
