A true classic that took four hours of detailed work to get it back into shape. Internals cleaned and both sides of all four genuine Bak-4 prisms blackened so as to slightly increase brightnes and contrast in this single coated beauty.

Built the old fashioned way with very little plastic, it is now ready for a lifetime of service. If given some TLC and a cleaning every decade or two, it will be passed onto your grandchildren and great grandkids. An heirloom quality optic, for sure.

I found a nice Euro-style case that fits perfectly and cobbled a set of up-cycled ocular caps that fit amazingly well!

There is a slight chip on the very end of the right side upper prism. Noticeable only when viewed backwards through the objectives and has zero effect on clear, crisp, and nicely wide views. If not mentioned, few would ever notice. Many a vintage bin have such small defects from years of use.

The focuser and right diopter work smooooth after a lube job. Metal eye cups now work, too.
